Join us for a 4-hour full cooking class where we’ll prepare traditional Czech dishes passed down through generations. You’ll cook an appetiser or soup, main dish, side dish, and dessert, then sit down to enjoy your creations in a relaxed, communal lunch or dinner. Experience the flavors and techniques that have been cherished in Czech kitchens for years!

What to expect and who is it for?

 

Dive Deep into Czech Cuisine – A Full Cooking Experience

If you're a passionate home cook or food lover eager to truly explore Czech cuisine, this hands-on class is for you. Set in our self-designed Good Food Atelier — nestled in a charming 400-year-old building — you’ll experience the heart of Czech culture through food.

Our kitchen is intentionally simple and home-style, just like the ones we cook in every day. No complicated gadgets here — just real ingredients, traditional techniques, and recipes you’ll be able to recreate at home with ease. Together, we’ll prepare a complete Czech menu from scratch:

A comforting soup or appetizer, a hearty main course with a classic side dish, a traditional Czech dessert. 

 

Along the way, you’ll also get to taste our homemade pickled vegetables and marmalades, made with love from seasonal ingredients. To complement the meal, water, tea, coffee, and wine are all included.

This immersive cooking experience is perfect for anyone who wants more than a quick demo — it’s your chance to slow down, learn, taste, and connect with Czech culinary traditions in a cozy, inspiring setting.

The event lasts approximately 4 hours. We usually start between 2:30 and 4pm or at 10am.

Other times are available upon request.


This experience can be adapted to various dietary needs and allergies.
It’s suitable for kids, teens and adults of all ages — perfect for solo travellers or private gatherings.

What can be on the menu?

Traditional Soup or Appetiser

We’ll either make a rich homemade broth and turn it into soup with noodles and vegetables or potatoes and mushrooms — or prepare crispy potato–sauerkraut pancakes, a rustic favorite.

 

One of the Traditional Czech Main Dishes
– Svíčková (braised beef in creamy root vegetable sauce)
– Beef goulash
– Roasted duck
– Rabbit with vegetables
– Beef with mushrooms
– Spanish bird (stuffed beef roll)
– Vegan prejt (a plant-based twist on a traditional Czech spiced stuffing dish)

 

Side Dish
Of course, bread dumplings are a must! This most typical Czech side dish is served in its tastiest homemade version.

 

Traditional Dessert
We’ll end on a sweet note with your choice of:
– A seasonal fruit cake
– Fruit dumplings with poppy seeds and quark
– Or delicate kremrole (puff pastry filled with sweet meringue)
